Whenever I see cover pictures of places I don’t know, I wonder where they came from. This page tries to answer that question. In cases where there is a posting about the picture, I’ve noticed that too. In some cases, the heading picture may be from a photo that wasn’t included in the post. I picked them for working as part of a narrow strip, and some other photo may well have been better when seen as a whole.
